NATIVE-SPEAKING ENGLISH NEEED Secondary Shool located in Morumbi – São Paulo is seeking a native-speaker of English to tutor Brazilian students in a dual-curriculum project. Major duties and responsibilities include: - Plan lessons to meet the curriculum goals and provide excellent educational opportunities to all students, especially for whom English is a second languange. Teach several groups of up to 20 students, ages 13-16, in an immersion environment. - Help students through lesson assignments that include reading, writing, presenting, debating, and discussing. Communicate with supervisor on a daily basis regarding assignments and student activities. Background: College graduate in any area of study in the country of birth. Previous experience in teaching English as a second language is helpful. - Should also be able to communicate in either basic Portuguese or basic Spanish. - Ability to work cooperatively with other teachers, and administrators, developing materials pertinent to the program curriculum. Should be available to start on December.
